Purchases
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
- Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
- Open Crater Hop and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
- Your ad-free status will be re-applied within a few seconds.
Restore is free and works on any device signed in to the same Apple ID that made the original purchase. You will not be charged again.
I bought Remove Ads but I'm still seeing ads.
First, force-quit the app and reopen it — entitlements refresh on launch. If ads still appear, tap the gear icon → Restore Purchases. If the issue persists, email support@buildingrome.dev with your Apple ID country and the approximate purchase date and we'll look into it.
The Remove Ads button doesn't do anything.
Check that your device has an active internet connection — the App Store sheet can't load offline. If the button still doesn't bring up the purchase sheet, force-quit the app and try again. If the issue continues, email us with your iOS version and device model.
Refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
Gameplay
How do I reset my high score?
Open Settings (gear icon) and tap Reset High Score. This only resets your local high score; your existing leaderboard entries are not affected.
How do I unlock new suits and accessories?
Cosmetic items unlock automatically as you reach distance and score thresholds. Keep playing — they pop up in Settings → Accessories / Effects pages as you earn them.
The game won't respond to taps.
Tap anywhere on the playfield to jump; hold to extend a jet thrust. If taps aren't registering, make sure no system dialog is on top, then force-quit and reopen the app.
Leaderboard
Remove my leaderboard entry
Leaderboard entries are tied to an anonymous client ID generated on first launch. To request removal, email privacy@buildingrome.dev with your callsign and approximate score so we can locate the entry.
